Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary: £33,970 - £38,290 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

The Role:
As a Senior IT Technician, you will oversee and maintain IT infrastructure while providing support for a range of IT systems.
Responsibilities:
? Support all school-owned technology, including desktops, software, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
? Evaluate and report on IT infrastructure to the IT Network Manager.
? Deliver comprehensive user support, following helpdesk procedures and priorities.
? Maintain clear communication with users throughout issue resolution.
? Maintain and upgrade IT systems.
? Monitor and report on IT and audio-visual hardware, software, and cabling performance.
? Document IT hardware, software, and audio-visual equipment.
? Test equipment and provide IT support for internal and external events.
? Serve as an escalation point for first-line support staff, including the IT Apprentice.
? Refer complex issues to the IT Network Manager.
Requirements:
? Previously worked as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
? Proven experience in supporting, developing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure.
? Background working in the educational sector.
? Familiarity with best practices, current products, and statutory requirements, including IT health and safety.
? Understanding of Data Protection principles, including all aspects of the GDPR.

? Dell EMC hardware
? Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
? IP Addressing, Subnets and VLANS
? Server installation and maintenance
? Windows server OS
? Backup & SAN theory and technology
? Managed Print Technology
