Childcare Legal Assistant

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting alongside a Local Authority in the Greater Manchester area, who are looking for a Legal Assistant to join their Children's Team. They are offering a great opportunity for candidates with experience or those with a law degree wishing to gain entry level experience as a Legal Assistant to apply.

ROLE: Childcare Legal Assistant
RATE: £15-£20ph
BASED: Manchester – Hybrid working
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 Months ongoing

The Role/ Responsibilities

They will work alongside a Senior Legal Assistant undertaking Childcare proceedings. Requesting and filing evidence, answering calls, booking Counsel. Drafting and preparing Bundles Working and supporting Lawyers on Childcare matters.

The Person

Experience within Childcare Law is a benefit but the council is open to candidates with a law degree / LPC / bar finals passed, looking to gain entry level experience Great communication skills, written and oral. Prompt, organised and efficient.
