Head of Property Litigation

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Property Litigation to join our client's dynamic team in Chester, North West. This senior position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced solicitor to lead the property litigation department, specialising in social housing and housing management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload related to property disputes, leasehold issues, injunctions, and landlord and tenant matters, with a particular focus on social housing clients.

You will also be expected to develop and shape the team, fostering growth and maintaining high standards of client service. The role requires a proactive leader with a strong technical background and the ability to build and manage a team, including supporting their own staff if applicable. Your experience in acting for landlords within social housing environments will be highly valued, and your technical expertise should be complemented by a demonstrable following and reputation in the market.

Qualified solicitor with a solid background in property litigation, particularly within social housing or housing management sectors Proven leadership skills with experience in developing and leading a team Strong technical knowledge of property dispute resolution, leasehold issues, and landlord/tenant law Ability to manage a busy caseload and develop long-term client relationships Experience acting for landlords, especially within social housing settings Open to bringing in your own support staff and fostering a collaborative team environment
