Engineering Apprentice
The apprentice will be workshop based but will some times need to travel out and deliver and install machines around the country with another member of staff.
The main role will be to build and assemble our panel making and stacking machines for different customers built to their specification. From here we build the chassis which will be powder coated then they will come in to the factory to start the build process.
We make the whole machine from in house design to raw materials then to the finished working machine.
The correct candidate will be trained in pneumatics, electrics and
electronics and build good mechanical knowledge.
They must be able to assemble components from assembly drawings then fit them on to the machines.
Previous experience in Welding, milling and turning would be very helpful but will be studied as part of the apprenticeship.
We also write our own software and program our machines.
