Apprentice Carpenter and Joiner

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials Support the installation of doors, windows, staircases, and furniture Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and plans Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Follow health and safety procedures on-site at all times Working on-site Attend college or training sessions as part of the apprenticeship program

Training:
The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Carpentry & Joinery Level 2 The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course This is a Day Release programme, which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours

Training Outcome:

Full-time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
