Assisting the lead landscaper with all aspects of each project
including:

Site set up Setting out Dig out Laying paving Installing fencing Decking Oak framing General cleaning and organising

Training:

Emergency first aid:

Level 3 award in emergency first aid at work

English and maths:

Apprentices without level 2 English and maths must achieve level 1 and take the test for level 2 before taking the end-point assessment

Qualification achieved:

Level 2 Horticulture/Landscape Operative

Employer Description:
Flagstone and Flora was founded in 2019 and since then we’ve been steadily growing in both the size of the company and projects we undertake. We pride ourselves on our friendly and approachable team who make sure work is enjoyable while ensuring all work is completed to the highest possible standard. We complete a wide variety of landscaping works, including (but not limited too) paving (natural stone, porcelain and cast concrete), fencing (both off the shelf and custom) we are also Jackson fencing approved installers, woodwork (including decking, pergolas, oak framing and everything in between) and brick & blockwork to build retaining walls, garden walls and raised beds. As an APL member we pride ourselves on the quality of our work and customer satisfaction. Everything we do is completed to both British standards and the highest quality.

Working Hours :
A normal working week consists of 07:30 - 16:30 with 1 hour for lunch, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) some weekend work may be available, but this is optional.
