Machining Technician Support Apprenticeship

As a Machining Technician Apprentice at A&T Enclosures, you will:

Shadow experienced engineers and machinists to learn workplace practices Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools to produce precision parts Read and follow technical and engineering drawings to complete jobs accurately Measure and inspect components using precision instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers) Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times Support continuous improvement and help solve production problems Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area to ensure efficiency and safety

Training:
4 days per week on-the-job at A&T Enclosures 1 day per week off-the-job training at Sandwell College

Training Outcome:
To progress as a full-time employee

Working Hours :
•Monday to Thursday: 7:30am- 4:30pm •Friday: 6.00am- 2.30pm. •Total: 39 hours per week one day per week will be allocated to attend college
