Nursery Apprentice

To be trained in the role of a Nursery Practitioner To contribute in providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery To give support to other team members throughout the nursery To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop

Training:
Early Years Educator Level 3 Training will include paediatric first aid qualification

The training will take place one day a week at City College Norwich, Ipswich Road, NR2 2LJ.

Training Outcome:
At the end of the course, apprentice will gain the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard and a Paediatric First Aid qualification Successful apprentices will also be prepared for modern working life by having transferable skills, knowledge and behaviours; these will enable apprentices to progress to a degree in Early Years or Childhood Studies, as well as management roles in the sector Upon the successful completion of the apprenticeship, the individual will be offered the chance to meet with management to discuss possible permanent employment opportunities at the nursery

We are an established and reputable children’s nursery based in Hethersett, 4 miles south of Norwich. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality nursery provision for children up to 5 years of age; all in a nurturing, stimulating and inspiring environment.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 18:00. To be involved in out of hours activities such as training, staff meetings, parents' meetings, fundraising events etc We are looking for an apprentice who will work four days a week across the nursery.
