Accountancy Apprentice

Observing, learning and understanding a wide range of duties and processes, whilst under the instruction of skilled colleagues To be able to demonstrate these skills and processes as your training progresses, undertaking tasks and increasing your overall contribution to the team  Undertaking appropriate in-house and external college training (within working hours) to complete AAT Level 2 & 3 qualifications.  Learning how to complete VAT returns, year-end accounts, bookkeeping, reconciliations and self-assessment tax returns  Becoming a confident user of our software packages – Microsoft, Digita, ONVIO, XERO etc. Understanding the importance of client liaison and client confidentiality  Learning and understanding the importance of health and safety in the workplace General ad-hoc duties

Training:

Day release at Northampton College once per week.

Training Outcome:

Potential for a full-time position once the apprenticeship is complete and progression within the company
