Apprentice Refrigeration Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers with the installation, servicing, and repairs of refrigeration systems (e.g., cold rooms, chillers, freezers) Learn how to diagnose faults and carry out basic maintenance and repairs Support in preparing and organising tools, equipment, and parts Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all job sites Record service logs, job sheets, and maintenance records as required Attend off-the-job training sessions with the training provider or college Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies Develop a working knowledge of refrigeration system principles, including thermodynamics, electrical circuits, and refrigerants

Training:

Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Engineering Technician Standard including F-Gas Day release at TMC, Wythenshawe Campus (M22 9UH).
