Apprentice Engineering Bench Fitter
Work according to the Quality Management System and follow the procedures relevant to this role
Assemble mechanical & electrical componentry into a range of medical devices, in-line with standard operating procedures and work instructions
Complete testing procedures to ensure conformity with specifications
Accurately record the results of the testing on specified databases
Assembly of device sub-assemblies in line with relevant documentation and procedures
Work within set production timescales to ensure on time delivery of devices
Ensuring efficient and safe operation of hand-tools, power-tools & machinery when necessary for assembly
Maintain cleanliness standards at all times to ensure a clean & safe working environment for all employees and to prevent contamination of devices
Instructions given by staff not within this roles management structure shall be reported to senior management
Training:
Engineering Fitter Level 3.
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training.
You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Working Hours :
37.5 hours a week. Monday to Friday. Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm. Friday 8.30am - 3.45pm.
