Apprentice Plasterer

The apprentice work on various residential properties in the councils’ estates. Working with our qualified and experienced plasters. 
 



Training:

The successful candidate will complete a Plasterer Level 2 Apprenticeship. 

The apprenticeship will be delivered in partnership with Portsmouth City College, at their North Harbour College Campus.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to the campus for their day release. 

The council will fund travel expenses to the campus by train, bus or car milage. 

The training will be weekly during term times. 

The apprentice will then be supported to apply their learning in the workplace to build experience and portfolio of evidence. 
 
 



Training Outcome:

On completion of the apprenticeship the council offers the opportunity to apply for similar permanent roles.  If the candidate decides they wish to leave, the options are varied including continuing to higher level Plastering Apprenticeship and building skills.

Monday to Friday 8.00-5.00pm.
