Salary: $150,000 - $180,000

Location: San Francisco, CA

My client is a luxury hotel with pristine locations around the globe. For their San Fran location, they are seeking a Executive Chef who embodies their commitment to excellence and is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences to the guests.

Responsibilities:

Lead the property’s culinary operations, ensuring the kitchen is operating smoothly and the food quality exceeds customer’s expectationsEnsure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency to maintain their reputation for culinary excellenceCreate and develop menus to reflect the restaurant conceptsHire, train, and mentor a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of culinary skill and teamworkEnsure that the kitchen is staffed appropriatelyOversee cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment to ensure compliance with legislationManage cost controls, forecasting and inventory managementReview financial targets to ensure they are being met or exceeded

Executive Chef Qualifications:

Proven experience in a comparable role within a luxury hotelAbility to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in a UnionA well-rounded and motivated culinary professional who can support and inspire team membersDetail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
