Business Administrator Apprenticeship

The role of Attendance Administrator supports the strategic work of the Attendance Manager and Attendance Officers. It is an office-based administration role, under the direction of the Attendance Manager.

Maintenance of accurate internal registers throughout the day Monitoring the accurate submission of registers and prompting staff to complete them where they have not been done. Collating incidents where registers have not been completed or completed inaccurately so that appropriate action can be taken by the Attendance Manager, Senior Attendance Champion and Designated Safeguarding Lead Monitoring the security alerts for missing students Monitor the attendance email inbox Answer calls from parents reporting their child’s absence, inputting the correct codes into the register Record attendance information onto appropriate systems Record safeguarding incidents in line with school policies onto CPOMS Late desk: Inputting correct code and associated sanction Follow up of attendance to lunch detention and issuing of Whole School Detention if a student fails to attend.

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Day release at Middlesbrough College

Training Outcome:
Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available

Employer Description:
The King's Academy is an 11–19 academy located in Coulby Newham in the Middlesbrough, serving the community of South Middlesbrough. There are c1400 students currently on roll and approximately 200 staff. The Academy is part of Emmanuel Schools Foundation, a multi-academy trust which operates six schools providing Christian ethos, character based education in the North East and Yorkshire.

Monday - Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm Friday 7:30am- 3pm
