Mechanic Apprentice
Servicing vehicles - working on manufacturer servicing guidelines to ensure the vehicle is running at optimum performance
Maintenance - replacing parts and components before they fail
Repair - repairing problems that cause vehicle failure
Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Training Outcome:
Following the completion of your Intermediate Apprenticeship (18- months), we recommend that you continue onto an advanced apprenticeship (12-months) to become a fully qualified Light Vehicle Technician. There are then a number of opportunities for progression within the Motor Industry, including (but not limited to): MOT Tester, Senior Technician or Workshop Manager.
