Apprentice Bricklayer

Assist with setting out and preparing construction sites, including measuring and marking out areas Work alongside experienced tradespeople to learn tasks such as bricklaying, groundworks, or carpentry Follow health and safety procedures, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

Training:

The apprentice will attend block release training at AccXel Construction School, based in Gloucestershire. Training will take place in dedicated blocks throughout the year, allowing the apprentice to focus fully on practical and theoretical learning during those periods, while gaining valuable on-site experience with Persimmon Homes between training blocks.

Training Outcome:

After completing this apprenticeship, the apprentice could progress into a full-time skilled role with Persimmon Homes, such as a bricklayer, groundworker, or site operative, depending on their chosen trade. With experience, there are further opportunities to move into site supervision, management roles, or advanced apprenticeships in construction and the built environment.
