Apprentice Engineer
Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment including graders, conveyors, sealers, washers, and robotic systems.
Learn how to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults under supervision.
Support engineers in ensuring all machinery is running safely and efficiently to minimise downtime.
Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
Maintain accurate records of work carried out using maintenance software systems.
Always adhere to health and safety policies and food hygiene standards.
Keep engineering tools, equipment, and workshop areas clean and organised.
Attend and complete all required off-site or on-site training as part of the apprenticeship program.
Work closely with production, quality, and health and safety teams.
Training:
Day Release – one day per week at college
Workplace delivery for the remaining time
Training Outcome:
Opportunities to progress into a permanent role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
4 days on site 1 day in college. 8 hours per day plus a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Days and times to be confirmed.
