Door & Repair Engineering Apprentice

Assist experienced engineers with on-site repairs and servicing of: automatic doors, roller shutters, industrial and commercial doors, and electric gates Support the installation of new doors and gate systems, including mechanical and electrical components Help with diagnosing faults and carrying out routine maintenance Load and unload tools, equipment, and parts for jobs Maintain stock levels on service vehicles and workshop inventory Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment safely and effectively Travel with the team to various customer sites across Yorkshire, Hull, and Lincolnshire Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy after job completion Observe and follow all health and safety regulations Take part in training sessions at Hull Training to build industry knowledge and skills

Training:

Training will take place on a day release basis at Hull Training's Engineering Centre, Danepark Road, Hull, HU6 9DX.

Training Outcome:

Opportunity to gain full-time employment if available and providing the candidate performs well on the apprenticeship.
