Delivery of customer service Dispensing of medication to patients Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data Entry relating to medication Labelling and Dispensing Accuracy and Attention to detail Numerate Working within a team environment Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals

Training:

Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, which includes: 

End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training

Training Outcome:
Full-time permanent role for the right person Further potential for other training such as a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship

A pharmacy based in Winlaton are hoping to recruit a hardworking and determined candidate to work within their small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. The Pharmacy offers general pharmacy services including: * Appliance dispensing * New medicine service * Prescription collection from local General Practices * Appointment booking for consultations not required

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9am- 5:30pm. Some Saturday work maybe required. Days and shifts to be confirmed at interview.
