Level 3 Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship

You should have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

As an engineering apprentice at Tilda you will be an active part of the team keeping our 17 silos, 4 high-speed milling lines and 6 state-of-the-art packing lines running smoothly. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including supporting reactive breakdowns, assisting with routine preventative maintenance (PPM) and carrying out fabrication and repair work. You will gain experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering, learning to fault-find, repair and reassemble machinery. You will also rotate through different parts of the site, building a solid foundation of skills across our fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

No two days are the same and you will be learning from day one.



Training Outcome:

On successful completion, apprentices will have strong foundations to pursue a career as a multiskilled maintenance engineer, supporting maintenance and production, or there may also be opportunities to progress into roles such as project or process engineer. While we aim to support career growth, a permanent role is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs and individual performance.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm, with 1 hour lunchbreak.
