Apprentice Electrician
Under the supervision of a mentor you will learn:
Electrical installation
Fault finding and testing
Day to day repairs
Planned kitchen, bathroom and heating installations
Preparing properties for new lettings
Training:
Level 3 Diploma Electrotechnical qualification
The phases of this qualification will be delivered over a 42-month period, 1 day a week at our Witney based centre
As part of the course, learners will need to fill in a portfolio of work with evidence gathered from the workplace some of which will be conducted by our worplace assessor.
At the end of the course learners will complete their AM2S End Point Assessment

Cottsway Housing Association is the largest housing provider in West Oxfordshire and also has homes in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire. These range from flats and bungalows to family homes, for affordable or social rent or to buy under shared ownership. Offices are in the market town of Witney and they provide over 5,000 homes for rent and shared ownership for over 10,000 customers. The aim is to be accessible and approachable, so customers can ask for, and receive, an efficient and effective service. Maintenance service covers a range of areas such as day to day repairs, planned kitchen, bathroom and heating installations, as well as preparing properties for new lettings.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, with one of these days per week on a college placement in Witney.
