Mechatronics Engineering Apprentice
Working with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, assisting and undertaking the following tasks and duties but not limited to;
Following process design drawings, fitting of mechanical equipment, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment. Following electrical design drawings, manufacturing electrical control panels (drilling, tapping, fixing cable trunking and din rail, fitting and wiring components to electrical schematics). Installation of cable basket or trunking (marking out, cutting and fixing). Wiring of process equipment such as pumps, heaters and instrumentation using SWA, SY, CAM cables. Piping of actuated pneumatic equipment such as valves and cylinders. Set-up of equipment, scaling and calibrating.Training:
