Mechanical Engineering Apprentice

Key Responsibilities

Carry out basic repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, and pipes Perform preventative maintenance tasks Complete checklists and maintenance records Learn and assist with more complex mechanical tasks Maintain a clean and safe working environment Use hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, drills, grinders) and test equipment Understand engineering science and technology principles Prioritise safety and identify workplace hazards Use basic computer software (Word, Excel) Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings

Training:

You will achieve a Level 3 Apprenticeship in MOET (Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician )

Entry-Level Maintenance Engineer Multiskilled Engineer Maintenance Team Leader Maintenance Engineering Manager
