Working towards a level 2 Early Years apprentice

36 hours per week, all year round, 13-month contract.

Our apprentices are a full part of our team and will take on the full role of a practitioner once completed their induction training
No day is ever the same and we work with a view to having fun and making each day count.

Our apprentices will be trained in all areas of being an Early Years practitioner from health and safety, intimate care, safeguarding and SEND to completing paperwork, messy and fun activities and parent interaction.

Training:
The right candidate will work towards a level 2 qualification in Early Years with an off-site provider who will work with you remotely and in the nursery. A full first aid training and qualification will also be provided. Full safeguarding training.

Training Outcome:
We like to train our apprentices to be able to continue working with us, to then complete a level 3 qualification.

Employer Description:
We are a private day nursery, preschool and out of school club attached to a local primary school. We are a 90 place nursery with currently over 240 children registered We have 5 dedicated play rooms and a team of 25 staff We provide uniform for all staff members.

Working Hours :
Working week will be Monday to Friday on varying shift patterns in between the hours of 7.45am to 6.00pm. Shifts are assigned weekly. Monthly staff meetings are held outside of nursery opening hours.
