Maintenance Machinist Apprentice
Working with the Maintenance Machinist on a wide range of machining projects, from machine repairs to new tooling
Carrying out risk assessments
Use barcode readers
Look after maintenance machinery by carrying out routine cleaning and inspections
Work with the manufacturing engineer to produce tool blanks
Work with the office engineering department to produce 1 off samples and test, and develop fittings
Dealing with contractors
Training:
Training will take place 1 day a week at Basingstoke College of Technology, with the rest of the week at the employer's site.
Training Outcome:
The course offers progression to the HNC and is a recognised means of career progression within the engineering industry.

Mon to Thu 7:45 to 17:00 and Fri 7:45 to 12:45
