Design /Cad Engineering Apprentice
Creating and modifying drawings:
Using CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit to produce 2D and 3D models and drawings for various applications, including engineering, construction, and manufacturing.Collaborating with teams:
Working with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to understand design requirements and ensure drawings align with project specificationsEnsuring accuracy and quality:
Checking drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and adherence to industry standards and company procedures.Assisting in project documentation:
Helping with the creation of project-specific risk assessments, method statements, and other necessary documentation.Developing CAD skills:
Learning to use different CAD software, understanding engineering principles, and improving overall technical drawing skillsMaintaining drawing records:
Keeping track of drawing revisions, issuing updated drawings, and managing drawing filesContributing to design improvements:
Potentially participating in design reviews and suggesting improvements to existing or new products The willingness to help with other office duties as and when requiredTraining:
The successful apprentice with enrol onto an Level 3 Apprenticeship programme with day release attendance required at Castleford College, alongside onsite visitis and observations by a designated apprentice
Training Outcome:
Potential to move into a permanent role

Monday to Friday 8.30am till 4.30am
