Business Administration Apprentice
Greet patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner, directing them as required
Answer telephone calls and respond to routine enquiries
Schedule and manage patient appointments using clinical software
Maintain and update patient records accurately and confidentially
Support the processing of repeat prescriptions and incoming/outgoing correspondence
Assist with data entry, filing, scanning, and archiving of documents
Provide general administrative support to the practice team, including GPs, nurses, and reception staff
Assist in the organisation of meetings and practice events
Uphold confidentiality and data protection policies at all times
Training:
You will work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
Training will be delivered in partnership with Rochdale Training, through work-based learning
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for permanent employment or progression into further roles. Previous Apprentices have moved into senior positions within the Surgery.

Working Hours :
Shifts will be between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm. Exact shifts TBC
