Hybrid Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Teaching Assistant to join our team in supporting children with autism and special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with secondary-aged pupils, excellent communication skills, and a passion for educating young learners.

This hybrid role requires flexibility, as the successful candidate will work both online and in the pupil's home as needed, providing personalized, one-on-one support to foster a positive and effective learning environment.


Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans Provide support and guidance to the student with special needs Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parent Assist with daily routines and transitions


Previous experience working with children, particularly secondary students, is preferred Knowledge of special education practices and strategies is a plus (ASD with PDA) Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
