Associate Surveyor - Hampshire

We have an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Surveyor at Associate to Associate Partner level to join our client’s growing Infrastructure team in Winchester. You’ll play a key role in delivering strategic and tactical advice on major, high-profile projects across the UK. This is your chance to work at the forefront of nationally significant infrastructure developments – shaping landscapes, communities, and the future of transport and energy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Deliver property services across major infrastructure projects, including:Temporary accessLand acquisitionCompulsory Purchase Orders (CPO)Compensation and valuationLead and support high-profile schemes for national bodies and corporate investorsNegotiate lease events, disturbance claims, land consents, and asset disposalsConduct and deliver valuation reports in line with RICS Valuation StandardsSource, assess and acquire strategic sites for infrastructure developmentsProvide detailed feasibility and development appraisalsProject-manage acquisitions, including due diligence and capital worksDrive business development and client relationship opportunities in the regionImplement efficient systems, policies, and best practice internal processesLead and mentor surveyors, guiding junior team members through their APCsEnsure compliance with legal standards and sector-specific regulations
What We’re Looking For:
RICS qualified and ideally an RICS Registered ValuerSignificant post-qualification experience in general practice or infrastructure surveyingCommercial awareness and a strong focus on delivering value to clientsKnowledge of CPO processes (desirable, with training available)Experience in rural surveying is advantageousStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesProven leadership and mentoring experienceA proactive and collaborative mindset – adaptable in a fast-paced environmentFull UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
