The successful applicant will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care through their expertise and contributions to the psychological services provided.

Job Purpose: Band 8a Clinical PsychologistPay Rate: £35.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Sign-Up BonusLocation: WolverhamptonContract: 30 hours per weekThis role focuses on delivering high-quality psychological services to improve the mental health and well being of patients suffering with chronic pain.Clinical Responsibilities:

Assessment and Diagnosis:

Conduct psychological assessments and diagnose conditions related to chronic pain.


Therapeutic Interventions:

Deliver evidence-based psychological treatments (e.g., CBT, mindfulness).


Patient Management:

Develop and monitor individualised care plans.



Professional Leadership:

Team Leadership:

Supervise and support junior psychologists and trainees.


Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

Work with health care professionals to ensure integrated patient care.


Service Development:

Improve service delivery and patient outcomes through policy and protocol development.



Requirements

Degree in Clinical or Applied Psychology, accredited by the BPS
HCPC Registration
Previous physical health experience
