In-house Legal Manager

Sacco Mann is working alongside a FTSE 100 listed company and leading UK house builder, which now has an opportunity for a Legal manager to work within its sizable and well regarded In-house legal team based in York.

Reporting into the Company Solicitor, this role would equally suit a UK qualified Solicitor or Company Legal Executive (requires Fellow of Cilex or CLC qualification).

This is a hugely important position, taking a lead in managing a team and the ideal candidate would be an experienced commercial or residential conveyancer able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of conveyancing, practice and procedure as well as experience in site set ups, development work and infrastructure work.

Previous experience of handling plot sales and dealing with related development matters for a house builder (either in house or in private practice) would be a distinct advantage.

Leading by example you’ll be supervising, supporting and actively managing a team of conveyancers on a day to day basis and involved in preparing documents and portfolios in connection with the setting up of sites for plot sales, as well as leading on a with a wide range of development matters.

This is a role with significant bandwidth and variety, playing a pivotal role in the success of the whole organisation.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days required on site in York.
