Key Responsibilities:
Execute and manage routine maintenance schedules to ensure machinery and equipment operate at peak efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement innovative solutions, and drive efficiency across all operations.
Provide expert support and maintenance on a range of production machinery, with a focus on minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.
Utilize your experience or exposure to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment issues effectively.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure seamless operations and support cross-functional projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role within the food or engineering manufacturing sector.
Strong background in planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies.
Hands-on experience or exposure to PLC systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
