Cash rich, leading distributor of Control & Automation equipment who have excellent partnerships with leading manufacturers.
Currently looking to strengthen the Northern sales team with the recruitment of a high calibre Regional Sales Manager
Offer manufacture training through a mixture of internal and external courses.
Opportunity to develop within the business, getting valuable experience in the automation sector.
Field based managerial role working for a company who specialise in the distribution of automation components and systems.
Covering the NW region - Multi-million pound turnover area.
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be coaching, mentoring and managing a team of 3 Account Managers.
The product portfolio is very wide and consists of PLC’s, Drives, SCADA, general automation and electrical equipment however you do not need to be a technical expert.
You will be responsible for driving sales with OEM’s, systems integrators and end users.
£45-50k, excellent bonus scheme, Pension, 25+8 holidays, Benefits Package.
The Ideal Person:
Ideally from an electrical or electronic engineering background.
Previous experience as a leader in sales.
Knowledge of automation and control gear.
Will consider strong branch managers who want to lead an external sales team.
An understanding of P+L.
Very personable with strong account management skills.
You must be in a commutable distance to the Manchester office.
