Production Operative

An opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join an international manufacturer on a temporary to permanent basis, working 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Monday to Friday, overtime available at uplifted rates, free onsite parking, with ongoing training and development.Key responsibilities for the Production Operative:

Operating various machines
Use of tools to convert a range of products
Pack finished goods ready for despatch, including wrapping and labelling.
Basic maintenance to be carried out
General upkeep and housekeeping

Experience of the Production Operative:

Proven experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment
Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Computer literate
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
Worked within a fast-paced environment

Ideally you will have previous experience working within, warehousing, packing, production, manufacturing environment.What’s in return for the Production Operative:

Starting rate of £11.44 per hour
38 hours basic and overtime available
Rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts
Annualised hours will be 12-hour days and nights as and when required
Ongoing training provided to up-skill further
Free onsite parking
