Based at a modern site in the heart of Bristol this company has been in existence for over 20 years and has experienced considerable growth over that period.They are now seeking a Quality Manager to join the team in a newly created role.

 Reporting to the Head of Technical, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the QA team and associated audits.This business has experienced tremendous success and is proud of its reputation for providing exceptional customer service and superior quality products - It is an excellent opportunity to join a privately owned company that prides itself on its innovative products in this pivotal role.

  Reporting to the Head of Technical and responsible for a team of three, the aim of this role is to manage and coordinate the on-going Quality Management Systems, make sure the site is audit ready and support the Head of Technical.

 This role offers tremendous opportunities for growth also   It is essential that you have experience within the FMCG, food or drink sector.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager  / QA Manager  will include:
Develop and maintain the on-site quality management system to ensure continued BRC accreditationLiaise with the various food standard bodies e.g.

BRC, Halal, Soil Association, FSA, EHO and international authoritative bodiesLead, motivate and develop the quality teamMember of the HACCP TeamManage and monitor customer complaints and investigations to comply with quality performance targets
Quality Manager / QA Manager  Qualifications and experience:
Diploma/Degree in Food Science and Technology or comparableHACCP and Auditing (internal/external) qualificationsExperience of BRC site accreditation and retailer visits/audits
