Job Purpose
This company is seeking a highly skilled Principal Planning Officer to work on progressing a variety of major planning applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing planning applications from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

Responsibilities

Manage planning applications from inception to completion
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
Liaise with stakeholders and members of the public
Provide expert advice on planning matters
Prepare reports and presentations
Negotiating section 106
Be a witness in planning appeal inquiries


Requirements

A degree in Town Planning or a related field
Experience in managing planning applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
