Location: Yeovil, Somerset

Salary: OTE £39k + Excellent Benefits

Full-time, Permanent, Monday - Friday, Alternate Saturday morning

The Role:

As a Service Technician your responsibilities will include maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles mechanical and electrical systems.

You will be performing various tasks, with a focus on first-time fix and delivering high-quality work.

Duties:

* Conduct regular maintenance and repairs per manufacturer guidelines on various equipment.
* Troubleshoot faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools.
* Directly engage with clients to understand issues and provide technical advice.
* Perform tests post-repair to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
* Repair and maintain critical machinery components, including power units, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
* Utilise diagnostic software for preventative maintenance and to extend equipment lifespan.


Requirements:

* Previous experience working as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
* Possess practical workplace experience.
* NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
* Technical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models.
* Skilled in computer usage and quick to learn new systems.
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
