Senior Air Conditioning Engineer

Role : Air Conditioning Supervisor / Senior Engineer
Location : Croydon / South West London
Benefits : £45-55,000pa DOE / 40 hour week / Door to door / Van / Mobile / Credit card / overtime paid after 40hrs / 20+8 days holiday / 1 in 4 on call – with the view to go to 1 in 6 over the next 12 months
We have been established for over 20 years and focus on the South East specialising in the Air Conditioning industry, currently with a team of 6 engineers delivering a first class service to our clients.

We have a varied sort of clients which include Retailers ( M&S and Waitrose ), Private Sectors, Hotels & Leisure ( Holiday Inn / David Lloyd gyms ) and Government buildings.
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our team as an Air Conditioning Supervisor / Senior Engineer .The successful candidate will have experience currently working as a senior engineer or supervisor and hold extensive experience in the air conditioning industry

Key Responsibilities:

Assist engineers & trainees with technical faults and offer on site training ( currently employ 6 engineers )



Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on air conditioning units.



Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning systems, ventilation and a small amount of refrigeration ( 90% reactive 10% PPM )



Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment specifications.



Commute to the office when required ( this would be 10-20% ) – the rest would be working as a working supervisor
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.


Requirements

Drivers license
Based around the South West / South London area
FGAS Certified / NVQ level 2 refrigeration & air conditioning
Flexibility with start and finish times ( early starts / late finishes )
Experience supervising a team in the air conditioning industry
Good customer service skills
