Night Residential Support Worker - Children

Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Night Residential Support Worker for Children with Manchester City Council
Manchester City Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.
Key responsibilities

The role holder will endeavour to provide a safe warm, caring and stable environment for those children and young people between 11 – 17 years who live in the children’s home.
The role holder will deliver high quality support for service users living in the children’s home, managing existing and future risks through assessment, and creating plans which ensure the individual needs of service users are appropriately considered.
The role holder will provide practical and emotional care and support to children/young people ensuring adherence to agreed standards and positive outcomes maximising independence and opportunities.
The role holder will work with young people, their families and other relevant stakeholders to offer advice and support to help them develop and achieve their goals.


Essential criteria
The post holder will be required to hold the Diploma Level 3 in working with Children and Young People in Residential Care or its equivalent.
