An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in South West London, Surrey & Berkshire.  CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to be based in South West London, Surrey & Berkshire corridor carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance across a commercial contract.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of servicing, repairing, and installing heating systems and plumbing works at various commercial properties.

This position would be ideal for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of up to £38,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Key duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor mechanical plantPumps, Motors, Seals, BearingsPlumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washersBMS System - Monitor (i.e.

Hot & cold)Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenanceMaintain and update LogbooksWorking to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimesChanging taps/washersInstall and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, Boilers, Temperature check the repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.Managing priorities within contract constraints.Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals.Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.Package Details & Hours of Work40 hours per week (8.5 hours per day including 30 min unpaid lunch break, 5 days a week)30 days paid holiday pro-rata including all bank holidays, increasing to 33 days after 5 years and 38 days after 10 yearsOT during the week (Monday to Friday) is paid at 1.5 times flat rateOT at weekends is paid at 1.5 times flat rate, door to doorTravel time will be paid after 30 minutes Call-out rota (approx.
