Head of Commissioning - Children Services
Job Description
Haringey Council are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Commissioning with their Children Services to provide strategic and operational leadership to inform and drive forward children's commissioning that reflects and supports positive outcomes for people accessing services across Haringey.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a commissioning context, who has led service improvements, working alongside a range of internal and external partners including service users.

The candidate must have previous experience in commissioning children's services at a senior level.
The Head of Commissioning - Children Services will be responsible for leading a large team when driving this ambition, including demonstrable experience of positively changing culture and behaviours.

The candidate will have excellent negotiation skills and would be able to interpret and present a range of information.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership to inform and drive forward children's commissioning that reflects and supports positive outcomes for people accessing services across Haringey.

Work with colleagues and Elected Members in the Council, and work closely with our partners and stakeholders to transform the way our services are delivered, working collaboratively to develop solutions and new ways of working.

Requirements

Previous experience in commissioning children's services at a senior level.
Experience of working within a commissioning context, who has led service improvements, working alongside a range of internal and external partners including service users.

Demonstrable experience of positively changing culture and behaviours.
