Procurement Lawyer

Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Procurement Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE: Procurement LawyerLOCATION: South LondonRATE: £45.00 to £50.00 per hourCONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension, 36 hours per week
Please note that this role would include 1 day per week office attendance.
The Role

To manage a full caseload of procurement law matters through to completion
Dealing with Commercial contracts, procurement, Production and distribution, data and information management, IT, Technology, Construction, Intellectual Property, Public Law, Grants
To supervise a small and junior team

The Person

A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 12 months PQE
Previous experienced of dealing with IT Procurement would be highly desirable
Local authority working experience would be highly beneficial
