Family Support Worker - Children in Care - Nottingham Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join a Children in Care team based in Nottingham.Umbrella Rate: £15.79 per hour Duration: 3 months initiallyHours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm, 37 hrs/weekFamily Support Worker role: Full JD Available
Direct work with Children, Young People and their FamiliesFacilitate and supervise family time with looked after children and their familiesMake an observation of the family time for social workers assessmentWork with the families to resolve any behavioural and emotional issues that may arise from ContactImmediately report and record any safeguarding concernsProvide advice and guidance to parents where needed on things such as child development, guidance on playBuild strong and trusting working relationships with the children, families and all staffEnsure that the Child’s Contact Record is complete with sufficient informationMaintain records of work and write reportsAttend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary
Essential Requirements
Relevant professional qualificationMust have experience as an Early Help/Family support worker holding and working through a caseloadMust have experience completing Team around the family meetings and Early Help AssessmentsExperience of writing and producing reportsExcellent communication skills, both written and interpersonalExcellent time management and organisational skillsYou Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UKEnhanced DBS registered to the update service
