Our client is a precision engineering business that offers the full service of machining, project management, and Design for manufacture.

As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing team leaders and operators and the direct performance of their specific teams
Key responsibilities as Production supervisor
- You will be accountable for ensuring the team adheres to all production processes and identifying any training requirements.
- You will assist with the resolution of any issues that arise to ensure that OTIF, Health and Safety, Quality, and Efficiency are met.
- Manage your team leaders to ensure that discipline and absence are controlled effectively.
- Organise departments in line with the Production schedule.
- Ensure that Continuous Improvement is a focus, using the 6s where appropriate.
- You will be a strong role model for your team.
The right person: Production Supervisor
- Must have several years experience within a machine shop environment.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge and experience is crucial.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, able to lead a machine shop with 20-plus machines
- A good communicator, with a positive attitude
- Good attention to detail
