Currently, the resort is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join its esteemed culinary team, further enhancing its commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.Responsibilities:
Lead the property’s culinary operations, ensuring the kitchen is operating smoothly and the food quality exceeds customer’s expectationsEnsure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency to maintain their reputation for culinary excellenceCreate and develop menus to reflect the restaurant conceptsHire, train, and mentor a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of culinary skill and teamworkEnsure that the kitchen is staffed appropriatelyOversee cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment to ensure compliance with legislationManage cost controls, forecasting and inventory managementReview financial targets to ensure they are being met or exceeded
Executive Sous Chef Qualifications:
European culinary experience, with knowledge of Mediterranean cuisineMust have 5-star resort backgroundIsland and Caribbean experience are a big advantageAbility to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environmentA well-rounded and creative culinary professional who can support and inspire team membersDetail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.
