Housing Options Advisor - Merton£21.00 per hourContract – Full Time - HYBRID Duties/Responsibilities:
To interview and assess homeless peopleTo prevent homelessness by promoting housing optionsTo determine whether applicants are owed a statutory duty under the 1996 Housing Act, Part 7 as amendedTo advise those who are threatened with homelessness in order to prevent homelessnessTo assess the entitlements of single non-priority homeless people and give them statutory advice and assistanceTo participate in and help develop outreach work, such as advice surgeriesTo provide advice to private sector tenantsMust be able to attend the office x3 per weekMust be able to driveMust have private sector recruitment experience
