Technical Conveyancer

A well-established law firm based in the East Midlands are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Technical Adviser to join their busy team and work fully remote.

This role would be perfect for a Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive looking to move to an established and rapidly expanding firm.

The role

You will support the Conveyancers and Fee Earners on your team to progress transactions through to the exchange stage as efficiently and quickly as possible
This will include checking titles for properties and ensuring they are marketable
Dealing with all the legal aspects of the transaction
Your caseload will include a range of transactions including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, new build and unregistered titles
Supporting clients and keeping them updated through regular communication and correspondence, building solid relationships along the way
Coaching junior members of your team and understand the responsibilities of your colleagues, ensuring that work is distributed fairly and evenly

The ideal candidate

You will be an experienced Conveyancer with excellent knowledge on the process of each transaction and upwards of 5 years’ experience managing your own caseload, including Title Checks
You must be up to date on current case law as well as financial matters included in the world of conveyancing
The ability to work under pressure, maintain excellent client care and coach junior members of your team is essential
The firm are open in terms of qualification so whether you are a Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or an un-qualified Fee Earner, I would still urge you to apply
