Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor with a focus on Fire Stopping to join our growing team. This mobile role covers Manchester and surrounding areas, where you will carry out compartmentation surveys, identify breaches in fire-stopping systems, and produce professional reports in line with current legislation and industry best practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesComplete thorough passive fire protection and fire-stopping surveys

Identify compartmentation breaches and non-compliance issues

Produce clear, accurate reports using digital reporting tools

Communicate findings to clients and internal teams

Support passive fire projects as needed

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements ✅ Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in passive fire surveys and fire-stopping inspections

Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation (Approved Document B, BS 9999, etc.)

Relevant qualifications or certifications (FIRAS, BM TRADA, ASFP, or similar preferred)

✅ Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and reporting accuracy

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Comfortable using digital devices and reporting software

✅ Additional Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)

Willingness to travel across Manchester and surrounding areas

Right to work in the UK
