Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)
THE ROLE: - Your key responsibilities will be to provide engineering support to ensure performance of production machinery on all electrical and mechanical systems.
- Electrical includes; Variable Speed Drives (VSD's), Inverters etc.
Ideally with some PLC knowledge (preferably Siemens Control systems) for programming / modification.
- Mechanical: Gearboxes, bearings, belts, motors...
- General Continuous Improvement activities; spotting area's of the site and manufacturing area's to improve, creating solutions and implementation.
- Project based work which may require you to travel to other sites in the group.
THE CANDIDATE: - The successful Time Served / Apprentice trained Engineer will need to be electrically qualified and able to understand engineering/electrical drawings.
- You will be a logical thinker, with an autonomous approach to resolving issues and faults, a self-starter with the ability to prioritise urgent or non-urgent work.
You must be a team player with sound interpersonal and enjoy being part of a small close-knit team.
- The Maintenance Engineer will preferably have experience within a manufacturing environment and automation machinery.
