Day Technician – HVAC

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Day Technician (HVAC) to join a dynamic team at a state-of-the-art datacentre facility.

The Datacentre HVAC Engineer will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems within the datacentre facility.

As a Day Technician you will play a crucial role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of critical HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:

Engineer HVAC systems for datacentre facilities, ensuring efficient cooling and environmental control to support optimal equipment performance
Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate existing HVAC infrastructure and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance performance and energy efficiency
Collaborate with other teams to coordinate PPM
Assist with the installation, commissioning and testing of HVAC equipment
Maintain accurate records of HVAC maintenance activities, equipment specifications and performance metrics
React quickly to equipment failures/shutdowns

Qualifications:

Experience in HVAC design, installation or maintenance, with specific experience in datacentre or critical facility environments preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC principles
Strong technical background in electrical systems, HVAC, cooling systems, and facility infrastructure.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
